If you pre-order, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your email address, payment details and — for the paperback — your delivery address. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe and are never seen or stored by us.
We use it to fulfil your order and to tell you when the book ships. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone beyond what is needed to deliver your order.
If you put your email in the box on the front page, we store that address, the date you added it, and the IP address it came from — the last of those only to stop the form being abused. It is kept on our own server, not with a third party. We use it once: to tell you the book has shipped. Reply STOP to any message from us and we delete it.
